Welcome to The African Parent Substack publication dedicated to sharing stories, tools, reflections, and resources for African parents and caregivers across the world.

By subscribing to, reading, or engaging with our publication, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we kindly ask that you do not subscribe.

1. Content & Community Guidelines

The African Parent publishes original content focused on African parenting, culture, healing, and identity. We value respectful engagement, diverse voices, and emotionally safe spaces.

You agree not to:

• Reproduce or republish our content without written permission.

• Post or comment using offensive, discriminatory, or disrespectful language.

• Harass, troll, or target others in the community.

• Use our comment sections to advertise or promote unrelated services.

We reserve the right to remove comments or ban users who violate these values.

2. Intellectual Property

All written content, images, downloads, and digital products published under The African Parent are the property of Anne-Rose Obidi unless otherwise credited.

Please do not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of this publication without permission.
You may share our posts using Substack’s sharing tools or quote excerpts with proper attribution and a link back to the original post.

By subscribing, you agree to receive email updates from The African Parent, including new posts, resources, or community updates.

4. Paid Content & Premium Subscriptions

If and when premium (paid) subscriptions are offered, they will include exclusive content such as deep-dive articles, downloadable tools, or behind-the-scenes updates. You will be clearly informed of any payment terms before subscribing.

All payments are processed through Substack’s secure platform. We do not store or access your payment information.
